About the Event
RUN, WALK, OR STROLL WITH US!
Memory Matters is hosting a 5K & 10K on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The race will start and finish at May River High School with the run happening on the scenic paths adjacent to New Riverside Drive. Funds raised go toward providing services to caregivers and clients alike, who live with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s Disease.* The 10K will begin at 7:45 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 8 a.m.
The running competition will use time chips. Custom medals will be awarded to overall male and female, and top 3 age division winners.
5K Run/Walk
Individual - $30.00 Student/Military - $25.00
10K Run
Individual - $40.00 Student/Military - $35.00
All registration includes a T-shirt. Register no later than September 5, 2021, to receive it. Children under 12 yrs. have the option to bypass registration and noncompetitively walk or run with an adult family member at no cost.

* Memory and honor flags will be available the day of the race to decorate for those you know fighting the battle against Alzheimer's Disease and/or Dementia. The flags can then be placed at the race's start line for everyone to see.
