Dementia Dialogues is a 5-session (July 12, 19, 26 and Aug. 2, 9) training course designed to educate individuals who care for persons who exhibit signs and symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias. Over 21,000 individuals have been trained in at least one session and over 10,000 individuals have completed the course. Each session is approximately 1.5 hours in length.

• Public Health Professionals
• Medical Professionals
• Activity Directors
• Anyone who is interested
Dementia Dialogues is provided at no cost to participants through support from the Office for the Study of Aging at the Arnold School of Public Health and through funding from the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
Attendance & CEU Note:
A person may attend one or all sessions. Registration required – call Maureen Gleason, Memory Matters (843) 842-6688. Each class has a 1.5 CEU component for professionals. There is a completion certificate if someone does attend all 5 sessions. Uon completion of all 5 sessions participants in the Dementia Dialogues program will be awarded a Dementia Specialist Certificate.
